You might know the story of the William Wests, two unrelated men who looked almost exactly alike. When both arrived at Leavenworth Prison in 1903, the staff was confused.
Both William West and William West are on Reddit at r/nevertellmetheodds.
Their resemblance led to using fingerprints for identification. Though their prints were nearly identical, they were still unique.
