Norfolk Naval Base is equipped to host all classes of ships, including the enormous nuclear-powered aircraft carriers. These vessels, vital to the Navy's global operations, find a safe and strategic home at this base.
The base boasts ten piers with a combined length of approximately 20 kilometers. These piers are designed to handle the needs of the Navy's largest ships, with depths at the docks also reaching 14 meters.
